The Idea
How do you pronounce “Llopis”?

It’s ˈyō-pēs, “YO-pees.” A Cuban surname whose origin roots are from Catalonia, Spain.

What is an “Identity Catalyst”?

A catalyst doesn’t add anything foreign; it accelerates a change the material was always capable of. Glenn doesn’t hand leaders a new self. He creates the conditions for the real one to surface, then helps them turn it into conviction they can lead from.

What is the “Conviction Crisis”?

It’s the gap between who you actually are and who fear taught you to become. Capable people perform a version of themselves for so long that they can no longer find the original. It isn’t a confidence problem. Confidence is performance; conviction is knowing.

What do you mean by “editing” yourself?

To fit in at school, at work, in a culture that rewards conformity, people quietly trim the parts of themselves that don’t conform, until the performance becomes the person. As Glenn puts it: you didn’t lose yourself, you edited yourself. The work isn’t reinvention. It’s reclamation.

The Method
What is Leadership in the Age of Personalization®?

It’s Glenn’s methodology, built over two decades: the individual plus the environment equals reinvention plus conviction. It begins with the individual, through four skills, six strategies, and four defining questions, then prepares the environment through five leadership shifts. Conviction is the engine that runs through all of it.

What’s the difference between confidence and conviction?

Confidence helps you perform in the world as it is. Conviction lets you shape the world as it must become: an earned capacity to act on what you believe before the outcome is certain. You can’t borrow it or fake it. Conviction comes before confidence.

Is this just another leadership framework?

No. Most models begin with the role; this one begins with the individual. The shift was independently validated by RBC Capital Markets, which named the same movement the “Individual Revolution.” Glenn published the diagnosis in 2019, years before the data caught up.

Working With Glenn
Who does Glenn work with?

For nearly 20 years, Glenn has worked inside Fortune 500 companies, healthcare systems, and higher-education institutions, and increasingly with the next generation through Teens UnEdited™. He is the author of six books and a Forbes contributor since 2010.

How do I start working with Glenn?

The simplest first step is the Conviction Diagnostic: three minutes to see where you’re edited and where to begin. From there, book a call to talk through advising, programs, or bringing the work to your organization.

Does Glenn speak at events?

Yes. Keynotes and one-on-one fireside conversations for leadership audiences, CEO forums, and summits. Reach out to book Glenn to speak.

What is the Conviction Diagnostic?

A three-minute assessment that shows where you’ve traded who you are for who the room wanted, and exactly where to begin reclaiming it. It starts with the question most leaders can’t answer in a sentence: what do you solve for? Take the diagnostic.

The Ecosystem & AI
What is Teens UnEdited™?

The prevention side of the work. The editing crisis doesn’t start at 45. It starts at 15. Teens UnEdited helps young people claim their identity before the world edits it out, using the same method one generation upstream. It’s built for teens, parents, and schools.

Do you work with organizations, not just individuals?

Yes. Through GLLG Enterprise, the same method helps institutions stop standardizing their people and start unleashing the individual as the source of growth. The wider ecosystem includes the Conviction Institute, the Age of Personalization, GLLG Puerto Rico, and a dedicated Healthcare practice. One method, many doors.

How does AI fit into all of this?

AI is an amplifier: it multiplies who you already are. Where your conviction is real, it sharpens you; where it’s missing, it authors you. Do the inner work first and AI won’t define you; it will amplify you. Put simply: if you don’t know who you are, AI will decide for you.
